If you have always wanted to collect Lionel’s 6464 boxcars this may be your opportunity to start your collection. Starting in the early 1990s, Lionel started to reproduce these classic beauties in three car sets. All in all there were 10 sets produced which averaged around $115-$135 each. Recently, I picked up five of these sets and am now offering them for sale at a greatly reduced price of $60 per set. They are mint in their original boxes and unrun. They include the second series set consisting of two Western Pacific boxcars and a Rock Island boxcar; a Series 3 set consisting of a Missouri Pacific boxcar, a New York Central boxcar and a Rock Island boxcar; a Series 4 set consisting of a State of Maine boxcar, a Pennsylvania boxcar and a Southern Pacific boxcar; a Series 5 set consisting of a Central of Georgia boxcar, a Rutland boxcar and a B&O Sentinal boxcar; and a Series 7 set consisting of a Great Northern boxcar, a Timken boxcar and a Boston & Maine boxcar. Shipping is $15 per set or I will ship for free if you buy all five sets. Now, that is quite a deal if you think about it! Contact Peter Primiani (434) 981-5924.
